Piggy goes oink!
What beautiful afternoons painting. I don’t know if you read my blog a few weeks back about my piggy chaps and that I wouldn’t be painting them so much, but today I started painting them again! I don’t know how long it’s been, but it has been too long I can’t believe how much I enjoy painting them it has made my passion for painting even stronger if anything, my main concentration is now my piggy chaps plus I think people like them better! This one I have currently started will be the best one yet as I am putting all my skills into it, but there’s one that everyone loves and I think it will be that popular I may consider putting it into limited prints so everyone has the chance to own it.
Speaking of prints I have again been speaking to a company who specialize in reproducing fine art, I am going to release Where Have They Gone, but because of the costs it is limited to a very, very small edition of 5. I have considered doing it myself but this way I will get a more professional finish also I can get the mounts from the same company.
Last but not leased next week I will be exterminating painting on wood! And continuing watercolour panting I would have had a crack of it through the week, but I need a board to tape the paper onto which I haven’t got, but will have Sunday :-D
Right have a good weekend am off for a beer! :-D

New Stuff.
Hi guys, Well another art assignment has started but the best part of this assignment is I get to wire it, which I have done. As I need to experiment with different media I went shopping today, I was meant to buy just a sketchbook, as I have basic watercolour, acrylic and so on, but I ended up with this below:
Bob Ross Brush cleaning screen.
25 piece sponge brushes.
Winsor & Newton pencil set 12 different shades.
Daler-rowney watercolour paints.
Daler-rowney watercolour paper.
Winsor & Newton Sansodor.
Winsor & Newton Liquin.
Oh and a Winsor & Newton A3 sketchbook.
I done this last time I went to PC World to buy Windows 7 software and came out with a £800 MacBook!
:-p So that just robbed me near £50, but its money well spent! The best thing I have got is the Bob Ross brush clearer. It is basically a tray with lots of holes that you wipe you brush across to clean them, what’s the point of this you ask? Well when you clean your brushes with turpentine in a container and leave it a day or two the pigment drops to the bottom of the container and when you come to clean again your disturbing it or even washing your brushes in paint, as the tray sits approx 1 and the half inch from the bottom you can clean for brushes even longer with the same cleaner, also you have something to rub on to clean them even better.
I am also trying out watercolour paints and I didn’t realize how much they cost as I always buy oils, the set I got only cost me £6.99, but some cost over £40 the watercolour paper was the dearest out the lot at £9.95!
Well all what’s left to do is PAINT! WooHoo! :-D

Website Updated.

Hi guys,
Just a quick Blog to say that my website has been updated! :-D
If you haven been following me on my FaceBook, Twitter or BlogSpot you will know I have a new Apple MacBook and there is a program on it called iWeb and it is brilliant! You can make your website in hours and it looks good, everything snaps in to where you want it to go and change everything quickly, you are limited to what you can do, but if you know how to work PhotoShop you can get more out of it. Uploading photos, movies and Google maps is easy, but there is something wrong with its Blog (if you are using your own domain name and hosting), but I have FaceBook and BlogSpot for that.
Any way Hope you like and I will be Blogging about paintings next week :-D

New 40"x40" Canvas
Just a quick blog. I have got my new big canvas today and I mean BIG! 40”x40”! We are now thinking of making room in my studio as there is a wardrobe in there. As you can see from the picture the canvas is on an angle, I can’t put it straight as one side will hit my table and the other hits the wardrobe. So we are now going to move some stuff round if not try and sell the wardrobe, it’s too good to through away and we haven’t got a van to give it to family or friends.
I thought my last painting was big it looks small compared to this one. :-O

More Time To Paint.
What have I been doing lately? Well the same old thing, college and painting, but this week am going to have a go at making a sculpture one of my piggy chaps or my trees. The stuff ill be using is self drying clay it doesn’t need to be cooked, fired, or what ever its called. I’ll be using a tip that Peter Smith uses for this sculpture and that tip is tin foil and why people haven’t thought of this before I don’t know as its quite ingenuis as you use less clay and it will be lighter.
And here’s what you have been waiting for and its still not finished, but I thought I should at least show you this at this stage as I keep mentioning it but not delivering the goods. So here it is hope you like.

First Bad Day Of 2010
I sent a item to the wrong address because they moved (they did give me the new address but I written the one that was confirmed from paypal) so I had to refund them and I have lost the package, another one is sending there item back claiming its faultily even though it was brand new not even opened and lastly another one saying the item was dirty, it was a nitro engine! So it will be! It came out of a RC buggy that drives in drit, sand, mud, grass and so on. As I stated in my description I tried my best and they still had the cheek to complain! They got a engine for under £30 including P+P and there worth £97!
AND to top it all of my brush slipped out of my hand and rolled down my painting I think it was because of what happened above. :-( I need a beer!
