Piggy goes oink!
What beautiful afternoons painting. I don’t know if you read my blog a few weeks back about my piggy chaps and that I wouldn’t be painting them so much, but today I started painting them again! I don’t know how long it’s been, but it has been too long I can’t believe how much I enjoy painting them it has made my passion for painting even stronger if anything, my main concentration is now my piggy chaps plus I think people like them better! This one I have currently started will be the best one yet as I am putting all my skills into it, but there’s one that everyone loves and I think it will be that popular I may consider putting it into limited prints so everyone has the chance to own it.
Speaking of prints I have again been speaking to a company who specialize in reproducing fine art, I am going to release Where Have They Gone, but because of the costs it is limited to a very, very small edition of 5. I have considered doing it myself but this way I will get a more professional finish also I can get the mounts from the same company.
Last but not leased next week I will be exterminating painting on wood! And continuing watercolour panting I would have had a crack of it through the week, but I need a board to tape the paper onto which I haven’t got, but will have Sunday :-D
Right have a good weekend am off for a beer! :-D

New Stuff.
Hi guys, Well another art assignment has started but the best part of this assignment is I get to wire it, which I have done. As I need to experiment with different media I went shopping today, I was meant to buy just a sketchbook, as I have basic watercolour, acrylic and so on, but I ended up with this below:
Bob Ross Brush cleaning screen.
25 piece sponge brushes.
Winsor & Newton pencil set 12 different shades.
Daler-rowney watercolour paints.
Daler-rowney watercolour paper.
Winsor & Newton Sansodor.
Winsor & Newton Liquin.
Oh and a Winsor & Newton A3 sketchbook.
I done this last time I went to PC World to buy Windows 7 software and came out with a £800 MacBook!
:-p So that just robbed me near £50, but its money well spent! The best thing I have got is the Bob Ross brush clearer. It is basically a tray with lots of holes that you wipe you brush across to clean them, what’s the point of this you ask? Well when you clean your brushes with turpentine in a container and leave it a day or two the pigment drops to the bottom of the container and when you come to clean again your disturbing it or even washing your brushes in paint, as the tray sits approx 1 and the half inch from the bottom you can clean for brushes even longer with the same cleaner, also you have something to rub on to clean them even better.
I am also trying out watercolour paints and I didn’t realize how much they cost as I always buy oils, the set I got only cost me £6.99, but some cost over £40 the watercolour paper was the dearest out the lot at £9.95!
Well all what’s left to do is PAINT! WooHoo! :-D

Website Updated.

Hi guys,
Just a quick Blog to say that my website has been updated! :-D
If you haven been following me on my FaceBook, Twitter or BlogSpot you will know I have a new Apple MacBook and there is a program on it called iWeb and it is brilliant! You can make your website in hours and it looks good, everything snaps in to where you want it to go and change everything quickly, you are limited to what you can do, but if you know how to work PhotoShop you can get more out of it. Uploading photos, movies and Google maps is easy, but there is something wrong with its Blog (if you are using your own domain name and hosting), but I have FaceBook and BlogSpot for that.
Any way Hope you like and I will be Blogging about paintings next week :-D
